This message has been posted to the Technology Applications Teacher Discussion List. Jim, If you post a message to the list at techapps-l@Lists.MsState.Edu, it goes to everyone on the list which is great. That way everyone sees what someone is needing help with or has something to share and if we post answers and comments through the list for each other we can all see help ideas that may help us also. I use several other listserves and I have a folder that I save posts in that I want to keep. I know there is an archive but I also keep what I need in a folder. If you have a personal message to someone that you do not want anyone else to see, then you will need to email them at their personal email address. I used a listserve in another class that I taught one time and we would post our needs, etc on the list and within a short time we had answers. It really is a great tool! I hate I didn't know you were having trouble getting on today. I had tried around 8:00 and could not get on but around 9:00 someone from HCC in Grenada called and said they were on. I tried again and connected. I registered for the GIS and downloaded RealOne Tuesday. I did not get a confirmation but I did log in today. I got in around 9:00 and kept it on all day but could only see bits and pieces because so much else was going on in the room. There are lots of good links on the ncsu website and I did read that all powerpoint presentations used today would be posted on their site as soon as possible. They also have archives of earlier shows. I'll let you know if I see any postings on it. If you need to get in touch with me during the day, email my school address and I will get right back with you. Another body Hey Christye, How do I use this message board. Where do I go to post messages? I haven't found that yet. Do messages posted go out to everyone subscribed on the list through email? I know how to go and subscribe and read the old archived messages but that is about it. I would appreciate the help. I didn't have any luck either with the GIS day stuff. Couldn't get the streaming. Hope you did better with that.
