Adobe Acrobat

I have some good news for those of you who might want to post documents on
the Web.  Adobe Acrobat is educationally priced at $40.00 plus tax at the
Campus Book Mart...the one off campus.  The retail price for this software
ranges between $149.95 and $219.95.  Shane Smith is the contact person
at the Campus book Mart.  My copy will be in my hands on or about
Wednesday. I will bring it to class so you can check it out.  IF you are
taking this class on-line and are a student at another institution, your
bookstore should be able to get it at around the same price if the store
has educational pricing in place.
One good reason to consider this software is that whatever you upload in
.pdf format will be notoriously hard to hack and/or change, thus adding an
element of security to documents placed on-line for serious use.
