Introduction

Hi folks,

My name is Michelle Murrain. I've been working with schools in my area
(Western Massachusetts) on technology training, and small non-profit
organizations (such as literacy programs) on technology planning, training
and general support.

I've been a techie for 20 years, and I've been doing a lot of work on the
internet for about 6. I'm taking this seminar because although I've already
written a technology plan, and have done a lot of research on them, I need
some more guidance so that I really feel confident of what I'm doing. I'm
looking forward to the course.

I'm interested in focusing primarily on non-school plans, because in
Massachusetts, just about all school systems have finished their plans. I'm
also interested in learning more about professional development component
to plans, as well as the more non-technical aspects of planning and
technology change.

I too will probably be a bit behind the queue this semester, since I've got
a very busy schedule (I myself am teaching two courses), but I'm pretty
psyched.

Michelle
