I went to the FTP site at State and found that the MS Word version of the
file was corrupt and the link to view the .txt file on-line was set up
wrong. I tried to attach the file as an e-mail and found out that the
listproc here at State has a limit on the total size of the message.
There is more than one way to skin a cat so I have put it im my PUB
directory and set permissions so you all can get it. What I am about to
describe works with a UNIX environment so if you are logging in remotely,
this may not work. If not, e-mail me personally and I will send the file
on. E-Mail to individuals does not ahve the size restrictions that the
list processor does. Here goes...
at your command prompt type
cp ~jsn1/PUB/mbtech.txt ~xxx
where xxx is your login name
then type
ls
at your command prompt and you should see a file named mbtech.txt to view
it, type
more mbtech.txt
this envokes the pager function and will let you view the file one page at
a time.
Remember to type the lines exactly as I have them...Unix is a
case-semsitive environment.
