Bessie and fellow classmates,
I will leave the tapes in the office with the secretary upstairs.
Her name is Tammy. It will be this afternoon before I can leave them
there. I am working this morning until 12:00 noon. I then have to go back
to my apartment to get the tapes. I will have the tapes in the office by
1:00 p.m.
I know that you will enjoy these tapes. I encourage all of my fellow
classmates to listen to these tapes before the semester is over. I learned
a lot of valuable lessons from these tapes. There were some one liners
that really hit me as powerful statements in the cassettes.
"Knowlege is power." (We should continually learn no matter what our age.)
"We should learn from our past mistakes, but not lean on our past
successes."
"Chase your passion and not your pension."
"If you are paid more than you are worth, you will become obsolete.
If you are paid less that you are worth, you will always be sought
after."
The way that I believe these tapes will help with planning technology
plans is that the speaker in these tapes talked about the importance of
leadership, integrity, and lifelong learning. He also spoke of
the importance of believing in you ideas even though others say that you
are crazy. All of these qualities in a person can help to develop the
appropriate technology plans for our schools.
