Larry; As always you are so complimentary and positive. It is true that the Okanagan is everything you say, and more. I hope to be able to display some of the visions you have created, through your kind words, on my web page. I teach a number of computer application/science courses at Kalamalka Secondary School in Vernon, British Columbia. Kalamalka means "Lake of Many Colours" in our native indian language. I am originally from Vancouver, B.C. but came to know the Okanagan as a young University student working as a civilian whitewater canoe and kayaking instructor in the local Army Cadet Camp during the summers. It is there that I met my wife Barbara (also from the coast). Barbara is a Pharmacist and we have two young children Samantha and Cole. We have lived here for eleven years now and live on a 5 acre parcel of land half way up the local ski mountain "Silver Star". As I mentioned earlier I will try to use our digital camera to show you some more about us and the area we call home. When the light is right I will attempt to capture an image of Kalamalka Lake too. Feel free to visit me and our area via my web page any time and please drop me a line.
