OK, gang. All of these philosophical streams of planning idealism have led me to a simple question: How do you plan? I'm not asking for the "text" answer here. I'm just curious. To get the ball rolling, I'll mention that I use a software program called Inspiration. It is available for Mac and Windoze. And, if I may, pull some text from the education version box: "Inspire students to develop ideas and organize thinking." In my right brained world, this program helps me build (and edit) quick webs of my ideas and then instantly converts them to an outline. I paid $57 for my copy at a conference. You can learn more about this product at http://www.inspiration.com (download a demo too!). I'm also curious, Vickie, where you see this type of planning fitting in to Covey's *First Things First*.
