I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Alan, Cheryl and Deedie for
inspiring me Thursday night! I could hardly relax enough Thursday night
for bed! I was so fired up!!
It is so exciting to be motivated!!!
I am looking forward to an interesting semester.
I couldn't help during the tape as Jim Rohn was talking about Summer. He
emphasized we should fight the enimies of our garden. It made me think of
a personal event.
Each New Years Eve I ask God for a verse that He feels will be a help to
me for the up coming year. I Corinthians 10:5 came to my mind. i wrote
it in my journal. But a phrase 'bring every thought captive' kept kgoing
through my head. I tried to find it, asked several people if they knew
where it might be found. New Year's day I awoke still thinking of the
phrase. I again looked in my Bible's concordance and found the verse. It
was ll Corinthians 10:5 and it says "We are destroying speculations and
vain imaginations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of
God and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."
As Mr Rohn was speaking I found myself realizing again We ARE special and
when the enemy of our Mind Garden comes to tell us different We MUST fight
it!
Class, you are special people!
