Here's something I received from my dear friend, Bonnie Bracey, this
morning.  We had been trying to work out arrangements for me to help her
in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, in a couple of weeks for a technology
planning, E-Rate, and technology integration workshop.  Since MSU requires
a 2-month lead time for international travel approval, we simply did not
have time to work all this out....so I will not be going.  That's okay,
though.  I've learned quite a bit through this, including the fact that
even George Lucas, himself, can't change Mississippi politics!

We shall not be disappointed, though.  To the contrary, we will seek ways
that we can continue to help--from here!  OK?  Would y'all like to join in
on helping the schools in the Virgin Islands (remember...the USVI was the
first state to submit their state technology plan to NCTP).
