As we prepare the "front matter" pages for the revised Guidebook, I need
to make sure we are in agreement on one item.

As a general rule of past practice, SIP classes in the past have awarded
and signed over copyright for the Guidebook from MSU to NCTP...so that
distribution could be handled by NCTP without having to beg permission
from the university.

I have attempted to share with you, early in the semester, the spirit in
which I intend to treat work created by SIPpers and others with whom I am
so privileged to work.

If you agree, as a class, to sign over and award copyright to NCTP, I
shall prepare, then bring to class with me, a document on which I will ask
you to place your signature.

Thanks so much...and I am so proud of all you are accomplishing, not just
with the Guidebook, but also with the other projects and ideas on which
you have worked so arduously.
