tkt8763-01: Only one week away

Well, here it is Monday morning....and only one week away from the time we
intensify our intellects in "Seminar in Planning for Instructional
Technology."

I hope all of you are joining me in working diligently to be ready for our
experience.

Many of you will be here in our class, face-to-face.  Others of you will
be part of the online community.

One thing is for sure.  Even though we will be in disparate places, many
of us, we will join as one in an online chat session during the week,
we'll be sharing email with a renewed intensity, and will be functioning
as one, single organism for that entire week.

I shall begin this week building a new web page that lists the web sites
you are using to post your critiques, etc.  I offer special kudos to Kay
Bishop in Tupelo who has built a wonderful web site, with critiques she
has completed already.  I trust that all of you have completed at least
three of the technology plan critiques and are ready to post them on your
web pages...and that by next Monday, all five of your technology plan
critiques will be either posted or postable.  And, I expect you to have
critiques of your readings (or audio books) ready to go online, as well.

We will "hit the ground running" (or, at least, trotting) Monday.
Certainly, we will all have learned enough by then that we don't have to
walk and hold hands at that point, as we will not be "beginners" in the
purest sense.

I shall start asking you questions...and I would like you all to join in
by responding with your own thoughts.
