tkt8763-01: technology pioneers

Thought the class might like this quote:

"Pioneers are the folks with the most arrows in their back."  I got this
from a techie who is trying to keep his company ahead of the
competition.  He also said, "You better have a good road map if you are
in the sidecar."  (Probably quotes from other sources but interesting
none the less.) By the sidecar quote he means that he is an employee of
a company whose management causes his direction.  He has to have a map
of all that's available so he can keep the path paved ahead of them.
