Pat (and everyone else),
Hi. I took SIP more that a year ago online. I have also had intensive
classes with Dr. Anderson face-to-face. I would love to STRONGLY encourage
you to join the class in person. While distance education has come a long
way and Dr. A. will help make all of the distant learners feel a part of the
class, it will still not be the same. In fact, I would encourage *ANY* of
you taking this course at a distance - for whatever reason - to try to
attend even part of the class in person.
You will be greatly enriched by this course and in my opinion, even more so
if you can join your classmates on campus. Once you are there, you will see
that flying together is an uplifting experience.
