I've just e-mailed a few friends to get the latest news. I'll post to this
list once I have new news.

As for Roger owning the company, yes he did found and own the company. He
sold the company more than a year ago to a group called Cendant (parent of
Avis Rent-a-Car, Days Inn and much more). His reasoning was that Cendant had
the financial resources to help his company grow. Roger was still in charge,
though. Later, Cendant sold its software division to Havas (parent company
of a bunch of stuff, but I don't remember what), a French company. Havas'
software division includes Sierra (games) and Knowledge Adventure (education
stuff like Math Blaster and the Jump Start Series). HyperStudio has been
under KA, but is now directly a part of them. If you had seen their booth at
NECC in Atlantic City in June, you would have noticed that HS was part of a
huge KA section.

Some of the other questions I can't answer yet.
