tkt8763-01: Observation of Video

Observation of Jim Rohn, Part 2 of 9 Seminar:

Mr. Rohn's seminar spoke to me on a more personal level. "The wind
blows the same for all of us...You can't change what happens...but you
can change yourself..."
I was raised in a home with that same philosophy. How I choose to
live each day is my decision. I can choose a effective attitude to the
day regardless of the knocks or rewards that come my way. The choice is
always mine...
The "diseases" Mr. Rohn spoke of made me re-evaluate myself. I have
found those "diseases" creeping in. I know as a wife, friend, daughter,
educator, etc. I can not live effectively with those diseases of
procrastiantion, complaining, pessimisom sucking the life out of me. I
have recognized their presence...Again..I have to decide to battle them.
As an educator...I see those "diseases" in teachers, administrators,
students. If I can fight those battles for myself....maybe I can
influence others to fight the fight for themselves. I don't mean
teaching it...I mean living it!!! That to me is effective living.
Life is so much a part off how we play the game...not the victories and
defeats. I hope to live each day and as Harry Chapin's grandfather
said..."so at night I can hit the hay a good tired" So at the end of my
game..I will have peace of living a good life.
