I truly enjoyed the video on Technology Planning that was presented by Jim Lanley and Cindy Lee Martin from the Calgary Board of Education. It gave a clear picture of a process for technology planning.
They pointed out the steps in planning but stressed that they did not necessarily have to be in this order.
1. Understanding external forces
2. Access the school's capacity for change
3. Develop the vision
4. Develop goals and actions
5. Implement action plans
6. Review progress of the plan
