Little did I realize, as I sat in the library watching the Ziglar
video last week, that I was in for 100 fold this week! I could talk
about the discussion of the Guidebook or the technology plan review
exercise and the overview of SB3350, but I would only cover a postage
stamp area of the material we have covered because each of the speakers
brought to the "work" the understanding that there is a place of
excellence beyond where I am. No matter what subject I explore, there
exists a higher level of commitment required to produce a result on the
quality plateau that has been displayed this week. When applied to
technology planning, the benefit is very great because of the cascading
effect a good technology plan will have on all who encounter it. I have
learned that, in general, what I produce is a direct function of who I
am. So, who am I? I think that surrounding ourselves with the voices of
people like Bob Hughes or Cindy Martin will create within us a daily
desire to live in that strata so that everything we do sparkles with
excellence.
Dr. Anderson, thanks for inviting us to the buffet!
