I cannot begin to express how much information I have gained from this
interview. I feel so honored that I have had the opportunity to
experience this phone call. Dr. Anderson, I appreciate your dedication to
this class by incorporating "out of the ordinary" activities that are
truly beneficial.
The information that I am reminded of is the statement "Kids come to
school less prepared than in the past." This is so true and so scary. I
have taught for six years, during this time I have seen the lack of "home
training" for lack of better words. I try so hard to help the students
deal with the "baggage" that they bring with them by trying to guide them
into the world of computers. This would be so much easier with the
support of administration and school boards like Mr. Hughes in involved
in.
I e-mailed Mr. Hughes to thank him for his time and was so suprised and
honored that he took the time to reply. I feel very fortunate to have
e-mail and web page address for futher use in my technology years.
