tkt8763-01: Cheryl Lemke

Cheryl Lemke is from the Milken Exchange. She has alot of technology
background, even a great deal with the government. She is helping
governors see that technology offers so much, and that alot of it depends
on the bills being passed. She spoke about the responsibility of the
schools supplying all students with technology, so that no one has an edge
over another. She also talked about incentives to promote teacher
training. She said that too many times schools are trying to set up a
technology curriculum that is separate from the other curriculum, and we
need to be using technology to enhance or assess the other subjects. Ms.
Lemke seems to have very good ad realistic goals and expectations for
technology. I really enjoyed listening to this audio clip.
