tkt8763-01: class

I don't know about other of you who are able to attend class; however, last night's class was great. I felt like I finally grapsed "a" concept. Chris, thank you for the expeditiously typed notes.

As soon as I can get the virus cleaned off my computer, export files I've been saving on my hard drive to my web site you all will see my critique of SB3350 has some points that Dr. Anderson made in particular to the "telephone lines in the classrooms". I was appalled when I first read that and put in my critique that it appeared the MS would be limiting its students if this technology technique was implemented. Because we all know and prefer to access the Internet via T1 lines and other fiber optic options rather than over a phone line/modem. Investing that option in classrooms is like having to type on typewriters, use carbon paper, and different colored liquid paper to match the copies to correct mistakes. (Whew, have we come a long way!)

In other words and to re-iterate Chris's "gold star" comment from last night, telephone lines in classrooms to access the internet is making an expenditure on our children/adults not a true investment.
