I would like for each of you to research the concept of TCO...and see what
you come up with.

One expert who has written recently about TCO (in education) is Dr. Jan
VanDam, Director of New Media for Oakland (MI) Schools.  Jan is a dear
friend.  (Hint: Check out the October issue of Technology & Learning
magazine).  I'll bet you can find info about this online.
