tkt8763-01: Class Notes - 20 October 1999

Hi all,

Back again for more. Let's get started.

Go to http://www.msstate.edu/dept/teched/sip/matrix.html to see a class
matrix.

Next week, 27 Oct, we will have a guest speaker. Dr. Jan Van Dam. See the
review of her article at
http://www.techlearning.com/content/magazine/toc.html. Her article is based
off of the CoSN (Consortium for School Networking) article Taking TCO to
the classroom at http://www.dosn.org/tco/. Recommend you go to Publications
& Tools and download the article, chart, and planning presentation.

You can see the Oakland Schools Assistive Technology Plans at the following
site: http://www.oakland.k12.mi.us/pubs.htm.

See if you can find information on. Here are links I have found

Some of these individuals have talked to past SIP classes and can be heard
at http://www.msstate.edu/dept/teched/sip/
Many of these people are on the Thornburg Center Site at
http://www.tcpd.org/

Chip Daley's Comments about Technology Planning:
1. Create a vision for the future
2. Plan backwards
3. Build change into the model

By the way a great site for Technology Planning
http://www.4teachers.org/profd/index.shtml

Find information about the Milken Exchange for Education Technology
http://www.milkenexchange.org/

How are we doing on Assignment #7, Evaluation Model. Dr. Anderson wants
people to start posting their comments and findings regarding a technology
evaluation model. Can models for educational technology be found from other
sources (for example, Bernajean's audit, the military, etc).
Some sites I have found are
