FYI---

This is a matter to be taken care of by the list owner, not to become a
matter of debate on this discussion list....one which deals with
technology planning, not one which goes off in a multitude of talents.

How do you know that?

How can you assure that?

Do you have control over what mail comes to the class list and what mail
doesn't?

I'm not fussing; I'm just trying to help us all THINK, as professionals
and educated humans.

No doubt, you know me well enough to know that I detest the kind of mail
that arrived on our class list.  However, I have found that "fussing bacK'
at such things only plays right, directly into the hands of the
perpetrators.

So, by our reacting violently...and openly, on the class list...we are
enslaving ourselves to precisely the kind of action desired by these
people.

My point:  When I see things like this come to the lists I manage, I do
something about it, but I don't publicize what I do.  Also, I try not to
comment about it so that I will victimize myself to the actions desired by
the one who sends such messages.

We SIPpers operate on a higher plane!

What would the eagle do??
