Linda--

We all rejoice with you in having completed a joyous Thanksgiving holiday.
It's nice to ponder the thought of have a little restful time, isn't
it?...even if you just ponder it but don't actually *have* any!

To which assignment do you refer?

Hmmm. I just checked the class web page, clicked on the "Class Assignment"
link (http://www.msstate.edu/dept/teched/sip/assign.html), and found that
all 8 assignments listed there have dates associated with them.

Other assignments given along during the semester are to be done *now*.
Some assignments are performed regularly; for example, I continue to
expect you all to be critiquing technology plans, posting those critiques
to your pages...and posting the critiques of the books/tapes you're
consuming.  Ordinarily, I expect to have at least one new book or tape
posted each week.

I realize this assignment pace is slower than in other, more "ordinary,"
semesters; however, I sense that many of you are growing in new and
expansive ways as you find those "pearls of wisdom" in the literature and
on the web.

Thank you, Linda, for advancing that question.  I helps us all to reflect
upon our progress and focus upon the important things, not just the
urgent.
