Today will be a highlight day, because I want us to go into a "project
management" mode and use the phenomenally wonderful, powerful software,
Inspiration(TM).  This will be so great.

For the online students, I suggest that you go to:
  http://www.inspiration.com
and download a trial/demo version, then "play" with it.  

I suggest that you first create a technology planning scenario in which
there is a problem/need, then develop a visual layout of the process
through which you, as the technology planning leader, with direct the
group in achieving solution to the problem/need/dilemma.  For example:

You are leading a tech planning committee for a local community.  You have
selected members of the committee and are preparing for your initial
meeting.  Not all committee members are intimately familiar with the
technological applications you are (and intend to) using in your school.

You goal, using Inspiration, is to create a visual map of the planning
process, with "offshoot" diagrammed descriptions of the roles each person
will play in the process.

This is so much fun!....to watch a set of your concepts/ideas take life in
the form of a visual map!  Great learning!

Perhaps those of you who are online learners will be able to post the
results of your work on your web site, then we can profit from the
thinking you are doing independent of us.

Surely, we will be able to save our work as both an Inspiration file and
an HTML file, so we'll have some cool stuff to share by the end of this
day.
