Eaglets:
Some hints for working with inspiration
Type in that main title, and then select some problem categories you wish to
solve. Select one of the problems and then free associate anything you can
think of to take you from the problem to the solution. Don't be as concerned
with "order" as much as issues to tackle. It will help you move from the
vision to the specifics a lot easier and don't be concerned that you get
ridiculous with all the links from a problem. Let your mind wander. You
always have the delete button to clean it up. Breaking the problem into
units will help you identify correlations, common factors and parties
involved or affected. You may need task master committee members or idea
committee members, or decision maker committee members. All serve a purpose
and are critical to your process.
Also you may discover subprojects with your wanderings. Use the technology
evaluation form to help you move into more specific levels of technology
planning.
What resources could support your process? What outside experts could make
contributions? Maybe you have 3 or 4 committees which would tackle problem
levels, within the planning, think of steps to develop a project...not the
end project.
Remember to list committee meetings - how often...agendas for meetings..
You can cut and paste easily, so you might find your plan has phases or
levels with "mini-tech plans". Or it may be too ambitious and you need to
select only part of the categories to pursue. Small successes fuel big
ones.
Also, you might think in years...year one...year two...etc.
Inspiration can be so easy on the organization of your plan. When you are
satisfied with your graphic version...click...there is the written
outline...and you can even edit the written outline and ...click...back to
the graphic.
Team up with your classmates and work up a plan...the various view points
can hone in quicker and more productively than one person coming up with the
whole package by himself. Just as a real plan would be developed.
