My idea of an interactive web-based planning aid would be in the area of
professional development.  Not just improve the training but the
registration as well.  HOw do most educators register for professional
development training?  Pen and paper!  To develop an instant interactive
web site that educators in a school district could not only improve
technology use, but would be more effiecient, effective, instant feedback,
as well as show educators that technology is an important as the policy
states.

The benefits to online registration would greatly enhance planning,
scheduling, and involvement.  NO longer would educators have to wait to
see if the professional development session was full.  After registering
on line, an instant message would be displayed and "Wallaa" instant
feedback.  

Communication between administration and teachers would be increased with
online professional development.  Evaluation could also be monitored by
log in information.  Educator progress could be evaluated with each
registration data.  Paperless school districts are a thing of the future.
On-line professional development and registration is the wave of the
future!
