    All course sections for semesters prior to Fall 2015 — Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Summer 2015 — will be removed from Mississippi State's myCourses system beginning on Dec. 14. If instructors need any information — including student assessments, discussion posts, etc. — from any of these sections, they must take action to save the needed materials before Dec. 14.

    Nominations for honorary doctoral degrees to be awarded by Mississippi State at the spring commencement ceremony are being accepted until Jan. 9, 2017. Nominations and supporting materials should be sent to the Honorary Degree Committee in care of the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President.

  • Fulbright-Hays 2017 summer seminar in Jordan, Israel now taking applications
    Mississippi State faculty from the Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures, with support from the College of Arts and Sciences and the International Institute, have been awarded a Fulbright-Hays Group Travel Grant. All MSU faculty, graduate students, and sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply. Applications are due Jan. 15, 2017.

    The Office of Research and Economic Development at Mississippi State is now accepting preproposals for the annual Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) Ralph E. Powe Jr. Faculty Enhancement Award. The deadline to submit preproposals to ORED is Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. This is a limited submission, and the university can submit two applications to ORAU for consideration.
