Bulldog Benefit

The Engineering Student Council volunteered for Bulldog Benefit 2004. Bulldog Benefit is an annual event hosted by the Student Association in which volunteers beautify Starkville by painting, cleaning, mulching, etc. for families, churches, schools, etc. in Starkville.

This year's event took place Saturday, March 6 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. We met on the drill field, recieved FREE t-shirts, worked, and ate pizza afterwards. The ESC volunteers raked and trimmed bushes at the Starkville Alternative School. It doesn't sound like much, but doing yard work for 3 hours is no easy task, especially when it has rained the night before. The principal of the school was there, and he said that he really appreciated it since it would have been alot of work to do alone.
