FPWA recently awarded $500.00 scholarships to the 2005 winners, undergraduate, Lauren Beth Cavadel (left), and graduate, Yun Hui Gardner (right), based on their outstanding academic records and demonstrated leadership. Yun Hui Gardner is a licensed professional counselor with an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and a master's degree from Johnson Bible College. She has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Lauren Beth Cavadel is a President's List Scholar and was recently inducted into the Society of Scholars Honor Society. She is also in the University Honors Program. Ms. Cavadel is from Vestavia, Alabama.
for the Faculty and Professional Women's Association Scholarship Mississippi State University The intent of the FPWA Scholarship Program is to help deserving students who are in the latter stages of their undergraduate degree or at a stage in their graduate program in which financial support is critical to their continuation. Priority will be given to students who meet these descriptions. Two scholarships will be awarded for the 2004-2005 academic year at MSU in the amount of $500.00 each; these are non-renewable awards. The scholarship winners will be awarded a check at the FPWA luncheon in early May. The scholarships will be administered by the Faculty and Professional Women's Association which maintains responsibility for them, including the selection of the recipients. Scholarships will be awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate female based on academic qualifications and financial need. The following criteria apply:
