W5YD, Mississippi State University's historic Amateur Radio Club, is proud to introduce the newest amateur radio operators licensed at the FCC amateur radio examination session hosted by W5YD on April 22nd.

W5YD holds monthly meetings on
the fourth Thursdays of the month (August-October, January-April) at
7PM in the Simrall electrical and computer engineering building.
The exact location will be posted on the building doors or on the door of the W5YD shack in Simrall rm. 433A.
Requests to be let into the building and talk in on the W5YD 2m repeater: 146.805- no tone.

All W5YD members and the general public are invited to attend.


The weekly W5YD net is held every Sunday night at 2030 on the W5YD 2m repeater (146.805- no tone).

If you are interested in hosting the net, email the club president.


Attention: Our Alumni page is now a Past Members page! It is still under construction as we continue to receive additions to the W5YD Past Members list.
If you are a past member of W5YD or was involved with the club closely, please let us know. You may contact any of the officers and we will add you to our W5YD Past Members page.

The W5YD Repeater is on the air! 146.805 MHz, negative shift, no tone.

Mr. Bill Gearhiser (W5EPW/SK) was honored in Spring 2003 by having the W5YD club station named for him.
