Maroon vs White, April 5th, 2008
  Maroon Wins!!
It was another great game yesterday organized in between Maroon and White as part of International Fiesta 2008. It was a close contest and
at the end Maroon won it by 6 runs. Maroons winning the toss elected to bat first and were restricted to a score of 80 in 16 overs. Whites came
out strongly in chasing the target and at one point they were about to break the jinx of Maroon winning over white but crucial run outs of
Vinod and Sumeer at critical times costed them the game. Thanks to WNA and HCDC in sponsoring water and certificates, Manikanta and
Madhusudhan for umpiring all 32 overs.
MSU vs Ole'Miss, March 22, 2008
  MSU Wins!!
It is always exciting to watch MSU and OleMiss cricket match and this saturday was no exception.Winning the toss MSU opted to bowl first to make use of the dew on the pitch. The plan worked out as the OleMiss batsmen kept losing wickets until Prasad came in and scored blazzing 55 runs. Requiring 126 runs to win the match,MSU batsmen made built good patnerships and were not shattered at anytime. MSU chased the target in 19.2 overs. It was again the team effort that made the difference between the two sides. Dawgs had been waiting for this victory for two years but it certainly was worth the wait.Go Dawgs!!!

CS vs ROS on November 17, 2007
  College Station Wins!!
College Station team defeated Rest of Starkvile in friendly match. Vinod rajan's all-rounder show making 42 runs with the bat and bagging 4 wickets with the ball did not give ROS any chance to gear up in the innings. It was really very good experience and this should defintely prepare the youngsters for bigger tournaments.

The MSU Cricket Club team narrowly lost out to an excellent all-round display from the UAB team yesterday.
This game saw fantastic performances from some of the rookies on the team. The MSU team scored 83/4 in 16 overs against some very tight bowling and excellent fielding. The UAB team reached the target with the last ball of the penultimate over. The team was lead by Prabhuram and he was also the top scorer with 29. The MSU bowling attack was consistent but the UAB batsmen were able keep the scoreboard ticking. However, some tight overs at the death by Prabhu and Alok almost sealed UAB's fate but they were able to sneak through at the end.
