Breeding Bird Atlas Project

The Mississippi Breeding Bird Atlas Project, coordinated by Mark Goodman, has completed its final year of fieldwork. This is an important project that will provide valuable information about the distribution and breeding status of Mississippi's birds. The atlas committee (Goodman, Stephen J. Dinsmore, Jenny Thompson, Francisco Vilella, and Mark Woodrey) will be working on a book summarizing the results of this project.
