Here's how to use the discussion board:

Click on the link here (you might want to add it to your browser's "favorites" list: http://blackboard.ed.uab.edu/).
At the "Blackboard Learning System" screen, click the login button on the left.
Enter username (msera) and password (msera), then click login.
At the welcome page, look for the box on the right ("My Courses").
To read announcements, click on the title of the announcement.
For the discussion board, click on the top item (the one with the open book icon and "Mid-South Educational Research Association").
At the discussion board screen, click on the forum or discussion topic desired.
To read the posted items click the title that is in reddish-brown font at the left hand side of the screen.
On the screen with the posting, click on the "Reply" button on the right-hand side if you want to respond.
You may also return to the Discussion Board screen to add a new thread or new discussion.
Logout button is at the top of the page, centered, in the green border.

When you do visit the discussion board, as a courtesy please sign your name--at least your first name and affiliation/institution.
