Pledging MSU Block and Bridle
Any
undergraduate student who has an interest in livestock may go through the MSU
Block and Bridle Pledge process. Pledging MSU Block and Bridle is one of
the most memorable college experiences you can have. The friends you meet
and the places you'll go are second to none. Come join us in the fall and
see for yourself!

Mississippi State Block and Bridle Pledge
Requirements:

Each pledge will sign the following pledge
obligation at the time of pledging, "I, being interested in the livestock
industry and the activities of the MSU Block and Bridle Club, express my
willingness to become a member and promise, if elected to membership, to
uphold its ideals and principles."

Each pledge shall pay pledge dues of $15.00 at the
time of pledging.

Each pledge is obligated to attend all meetings and
functions.

Each pledge shall show and fit at least one animal
in the Little International Livestock Show

Each pledge is required to work a minimum of 15
hours for the club.

Each pledge will be provided with a large wooden "B"
during Initiation Week and have all officers, 15 members, 5 Block and Bridle
Alumni, and 5 MSU ADS faculty sign it.

Each pledge must take the Pledge Test that covers
the history, constitution, present and past club activities, and parliamentary
procedures and score at least 75% on it.

Pledges will be formally initiated in the Block and
Bridle club in the Chapel of Memories
Finally, pledges are required to have the time of
their lives!
