Halloween Dance Party - Oct 18

No classes during Fall Break.

New lessons will begin on October 12, 2008.

Club t-shirts are available for $10.

How To Join

Any Mississippi State University undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in dancing may become a full member of the MSUBDC. Any Mississippi State University faculty or staff member or any member of the general public may become an adjunct memer of the MSUBDC. Adjunct members have the same privileges as full members except for the privilege to vote and to hold office in the club.

If you're interested in joining, just come to one of our classes on any Sunday (see the Schedule & Location for more details). We have members of all skill levels ranging from those with little or no dance experience to those who have been dancing for years. You do not need a partner and you can dress however you like. Some people wear jeans and t-shirts and others wear skirts or nice pants. The only restriction is that shoes with rubber soles (like tennis shoes) or dance shoes with suede toes and heels are the only shoes allowed in the dance studio. Feel free to Contact Us if you have any further questions. We hope to see you there!

* If you are not a full-time MSU student or a member of the Sanderson Center, you will have to pay an entry fee to get into the Sanderson. There are three options for payment:

1 - Join the Sanderson Center to take free ballroom dance classes with us every Sunday and have access to the entire facility at any time.

2 - Pay $60.00 for a pass worth 20 entries into the Sanderson Center. This pass will allow the dancer entry into dance lessons for two semesters, and it must be paid for upfront. If you know you will get this pass, please purchase it as soon as possible.

3 - Pay the $7.00 guest fee each time you enter the Sanderson Center for dance lessons. This is recommended for dancers who may not attend lessons every Sunday.

Those who have not yet purchased the pass or membership by their first lesson will have to pay the $7.00 entrance fee into the Sanderson Center for their first lesson, but this amount will be credited toward the $60.00 pass or the regular Sanderson Center membership fee. Please Contact Us if you have any questions about entry fees.
