Administration Zone
The Administration Zone is led by the Chapter President and is comprised of all other Zone chair heads plus the Parliamentarian. It oversees all NSBE functions and assures that the chapter is operating towards its goals. The Administration Zone includes all of the zone leaders of the rest of the executive board which includes the Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The President communicates his/her goals with the administration zone and disseminates these goals to the rest of the executive board through the zone leaders. This zone is the top of the NSBE board hierarchy, thus providing structure for a chain of command. One of the main responsibilities of the Administration Zone is to guide the executive board through the national and regional directives.

Communications Zone
The Communications Zone maintains the flow of information throughout the NSBE pipeline. This zone consists of the publications chair, public relations chair, and telecommunications chair. As a team, the Communications Zone works through online, print, and digital media to transfer information between the leaders and members of NSBE, post NSBE issues on local and national news stations, and expose NSBE to the community. With dedication and hard work, the Communication Zone strives to create new and effective means to expose the community to the NSBE experience.

Finance Zone
The Finance Zone is responsible for all chapter revenue, expenses and registration management for conferences and events. It is a quality driven team working hard to create a streamlined and financially structured environment for NSBE business within the chapter. To accomplish this goal, the zone is committed to working with the chapters to encourage documenting consistency and regional financial intelligence in order to fulfill the overall progressive mission of our wonderful organization.

Membership Zone
The on-going task of the Membership Zone is to actively recruit and retain proponents of the NSBE mission. Additionally, the Zone is the customer service base for the chapter’s membership services and member registration. Furthermore, it is an objective of the Membership Zone to address the needs and concerns of the chapter; in this way, the Membership Zone is not limited to the Membership Chairpersons, because its leadership extends to the many students and professionals within the chapter that NSBE services.

Programs Zone
Creative, engaging, and interactive programs are the primary vehicle through which NSBE fulfills its mission of creating engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. We provide a variety of programs in the following core areas to support all demographics impacted by the Society: Academic Excellence; Technical Excellence; Leadership Development; Community Impact; Pre-College Initiative and Chapter Development
