NWA/AMS meeting will take place Wed. 11/19 at 5:00pm in Hilbun
102. To continue "A Day in the Life", our speaker will be a
meteorologist from the NWS Memphis who will expound upon his normal
duties and also some of the things to prepare for a career with the NWS.

East MS Chapter will have a Thanksgiving Party on Sunday 11/23 at
Jonathan Harris's house. Check back for more details.

the 8th

Southeast Severe Storms Symposium which will be held on the campus
of
Mississippi State University March 27-28, 2009. |

Scholarship".

East MS Chapter is beginning a brown bag lunch series. An
informal talk will be given by a professor or instructor during lunch,
12:00
- 12:45 on the first Wednesday of the month in room 304 in Hilbun and
12:30 - 1:15 on the
third Tuesday of the month in room 340 in Hilbun.
