Sisterhood Events
Phi Mu Chapter Retreat:
Each semester Phi Mu holds a chapter retreat for GIRLS ONLY!! Past retreats have included trips to Six Flags, Geyser Falls, shopping in Birmingham or just going to see a chick flick!
Homecoming Brunch:
Every year on Homecoming weekend, Phi Mu hosts a brunch for dates, family and friends. The brunch is usually held at 10:00 a.m. and consists of a variety of food.
Big Sis / Lil' Sis Week:
This week is one of Phi Mu's proudest traditions! During this week, the Phi's receive thier big sisters. It is a cherished tradition filled with fun and sentimental nights!
Family Christmas:
At the end of each fall semester, Phi Mu holds Family Christmas. It is a fun night complete with Christmas dinner, presents and Santa Claus!
Chapter Church:
Phi Mu attends church as a chapter several times throughout each semester. The chapter will visit a local church and enjoy lunch together afterward!
Dessert with your Daughter:
Held every Spring, Dessert with your Daughter is an event for Phi Mu's to share with their parents. Members enjoy spending the afternoon with their parents over desserts such as cheese cake, chococolate cake and "Phi Mu" punch!
Social Events
Fall for Phi Mu:
Each fall, the ladies of Phi Mu host their annual fall party: Fall for Phi Mu. Past Fall for Phi Mu's have been held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia.
Carnation Ball:
Carnation Ball is Phi Mu's annual formal affair. This party comes complete with tuxedos and dresses. This is also the party where the annual Phi Mu Gentleman is announced!
Phi Mu Crawfish:
This party is a laid-back afternoon gathering, complete with crawfish and a band. This party is held each spring and is occasionally hosted with other sororities.
Grab-A-Date:
Sometimes at the end of our meeting, the Social Chairman will announce a surprise party that week. Phi Mu's will have only a day or two to find a date!
Pink Lady Crush:
This is Phi Mu's Valentine Party held in February. Everyone wears red or pink as they dance the night away with their valentines.
Swaps:
Each semester Phi Mu will have a swap with a fraternity. Traditionally "Back in Black," a biker swap, is held with Pi Kappa Alpha. Phi Mu's Halloween swap is held with Sigma Chi. Phi Mu holds swaps with other fraternities as well. The Kappa Sigma, Kappa Alpha, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Sigma Phi Epsilon swaps usually change themes over the years.
Past themes included: Principals and Schoolgirls, a Graffiti Swap, a Hip Hop Swap, a Nerd Swap and a Famous Duos Swap!
