Tri Delta has a national connection with St. Jude Children's Hospital. Tri Delta chapters all over the United States raise thousands for the hospital each year. In 2002, Tri Delta pledged to raise one million dollars for the hospital to build The Teen Room. Tri Delta raised the money and gave it to St. Jude in 2005, one year earlier than promised. The Beta Mu Chapter of Delta Delta Delta has does a variety of things each year to benefit St. Jude. Each year during recruitment, we have Potential New Members help us make tissue paper flowers that are given to the patients at St. Jude because they cannot have real flowers in their rooms. In addition, Tri Delta host a pancake party every Fall that benifts St. Jude. We also have our annual softball tournment, Frats at Bat, in which all proceeds go to the hospital. This year we raised over $40,000 for St. Jude!
