Results of a recent national study indicate that high school Family and Consumer Sciences teachers either are or will soon be in demand in many states where the supply of teachers does not meet the need! This shortage is attributed to two key factors:
Mississippi is a leader nationally in introducing a new technology-based Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum, and the need for licensed teachers will only grow.
