Mississippi Tuition Assistance Grant Program (MTAG)

This program is open to any person meeting the legal residency requirements, income requirements, and academic requirements below. This program is open to students in any major, not just students enrolled in teacher education programs. Program pays up to $500 per regular academic year for Freshman/Sophomores and up to $1,000 per regular academic year for Junior/ Seniors. Since MTAG is a grant program, funds do not need to be repaid. This grant may be paired with the William Winter Teacher Loan program.
