The Junior Auxiliary of Starkville is looking for the favorite recipes of Mississippi State alumni and friends for a cookbook scheduled to be released Homecoming weekend 1996.
Proceeds from Bully's Best Bites will be used for service projects benefiting children in the Starkville area.
Mary Beth C. Franklin, one of the coordinators of the project, says the auxiliary is looking for original family recipes. She added that in addition to traditional cookbook categories, Bully's Best Bites will include sections for "light" recipes, tailgate party suggestions, children's favorites, and international cuisine.
Alumni interested in submitting a recipe for possible inclusion in the book should send specific instructions for the recipe to the Junior Auxiliary of Starkville, P.O. Box 941, Starkville, MS 39760. Franklin asks that those submitting recipes also include their name, address, and phone number; Mississippi State graduation year and degrees earned, or years attended the university; awards, honors, and affiliations at Mississippi State; and current employment and career achievements. This information will be listed below the recipes.
Deadline for submitting a recipe is Nov. 15, 1995.
