John Carr of New Orleans is looking for information about his great-uncle, George Duke Humphrey, who served as president of Mississippi State from 1934 to 1945. Carr is writing a biography of MSU's ninth president, who went on to become president of the University of Wyoming.
Carr, the author of four books, would appreciate any reminiscences, photos, or biographical information that alumni can provide about Humphrey. His address is 3024 Short St., New Orleans, LA 70125.
