

Robert A. Callaway ('70) of Starkville, former director of campus landscape at Mississippi State, died June 4, 1995. He was 63.
Callaway was campus landscape director from 1969 to 1980. During that time, he helped supervise renovations of the University Golf Course, Scott Field, and Dudy Noble Field. He also helped develop the Professional Golf Management Program at the university.
Since 1985, he owned Southern Landscape Management. He also wrote a gardening column for the Columbus Commercial Dispatch.
