An estimated 1,200 visitors came out for the Mississippi Picnic in New York City this summer, and Mississippi State was well represented at the 18th annual shindig held in Central Park. Dr. Jeffrey Levy ('94), third from right, manned the MSU table and is shown greeting a group of Mississippi State alumni who attended. The party featured a catfish dinner, blues and soul music, and a watermelon seed spittin' contest. The celebration is organized by the Mississippi Society and the alumni offices of several Mississippi universities. Levy is a practicing veterinarian in Brooklyn and a Post-Doctorate Fellow for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State.
