Architecture offers alumni tour of Italy
After a successful alumni trip to Tuscany in June, the School of Architecture is offering a second excursion in spring 1999. This custom tour will be of the northern Italian region of Veneto and the city of Venice.
Archetours Inc., the organizers of the Tuscany tour, also will lead the Palladian Villas tour.
Travelers will depart the United States on May 13 and arrive in Italy the next day to spend seven nights in four-star accommodations at the 19th century restored Villa Ducale located in the country town of Dolo and three nights in a four-star hotel in Venice.
Tour size is limited to 16. Double occupancy price per person is $3,649 and includes two meals per day (breakfast and lunch or dinner), ground transportation, lodging, entrance fees, tolls, tips, taxes, and service by the tour guides. Single occupancy rooms are available for an additional fee. Air transportation is not included, but frequent flyer miles may be used on these dates if reserved well in advance.
