
4-H Program gets fund-raiser
Morris Houston of Brandon is the first development officer for the Mississippi Cooperative Extension Service's 4-H Youth Development Program on campus. Houston was formerly the director of the Office of Student and Professional Development in the Mississippi Department of Education's Office of Vocational and Technical Education.
Prior to that, he was executive secretary for the state's Future Farmers of America.
The 4-H Youth Development Program is designed to help youth develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become productive adults.
