

The recreational part of the program begins May 2 with a golf tournament, followed by a Southern-style barbecue and the Mississippi State-Southern Mississippi baseball game.
The educational part of the program begins with registration at 8 a.m. May 3, followed by a full slate of speakers including state Insurance Commissioner George Dale; West Virginia Insurance Commissioner Hanley C. Clark; and David Simmons, executive vice president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
Other speakers are federal insurance administrator Elaine McReynolds and Vickie C. Kartchner of Scottsdale Insurance Co.
Afternoon sessions are divided into three tracks: claim adjusting, life/health, and property/casualty.
The educational program will be filed with the Commissioner of Insurance for six hours of continuing education credit for claim adjustors, life/health agents, and property/casualty agents.
