Comprehensive Assistive Technology Center opens

Officials on hand for the recent dedication of the Comprehensive Assistive Technology Center were, from left, Harry Rizer, center director; Dr. Nell Carney, executive director of the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services; President Donald Zacharias; and Dr. Ralph Powe, vice president for research. The center, adjacent to the Longest Student Health Center, will devote most of its energies to delivering services to Mississippi citizens with disabilities. A part of its efforts will be directed at research.
